SMS Messaging Program

Transactio sends SMS text messages to real estate agents involved in active transactions managed by their transaction coordinator. This page describes the program, how to opt in, and how to opt out.

About the program

Transactio is a transaction management platform used by real estate transaction coordinators (TCs). When a TC adds a real estate agent to a transaction, Transactio sends that agent SMS text messages with transaction updates, deadline reminders, and requests for information or documents.

SMS opt-in is required. Agents must reply YES to the initial invitation message before any further SMS messages are sent. Agents may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

How agents opt in

A transaction coordinator (TC) adds the agent to a transaction.
The TC, who is the agent's existing business contact, enters the agent's name and mobile phone number in the Transactio web application. The TC has the agent's prior consent to be contacted as part of their existing business relationship.

Transactio sends an opt-in confirmation SMS.
The agent receives the following text message from Transactio's verified business number:

Transactio: You've been added to a real estate transaction by your transaction coordinator. Reply YES to opt-in & receive transaction updates (up to 20 msgs/mo). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt-out. Terms: https://transactio.co/terms Privacy: https://transactio.co/privacy-policy

Agent replies YES.
Agents must affirmatively reply YES to opt in. No further messages will be sent until the agent confirms.

Transactio confirms the opt-in.
The agent receives a confirmation message:

You're opted in to Transactio SMS notifications. You'll receive transaction updates from your transaction coordinator. Reply STOP to opt-out at any time.

Keywords

Agents can manage their SMS subscription at any time by texting any of the following keywords to Transactio's business phone number:

Message frequency & rates

Message FrequencyUp to 20 messages per month per agent, depending on transaction activity. Most agents receive 5–10 messages per month.

Standard RatesMessage and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Transactio does not charge for SMS messages.

Deadline reminders for upcoming transaction milestones
Document requests from your transaction coordinator
Document upload confirmations
Transaction status updates (e.g., e-signature requested, contract executed)
Messages from your transaction coordinator about the transaction

All messages relate to active real estate transactions you are a participant in. Transactio does not send marketing, promotional, or unrelated messages via SMS.

Terms & Privacy

By replying YES to opt-in, you agree to receive transaction-related SMS messages from Transactio and accept our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Transactio will never share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your phone number is used solely to deliver transaction-related messages from the transaction coordinator(s) who added you to a transaction.
